Sorah Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Verses Number 7

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ ( 1 )

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)?

فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ ( 2 )

Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness),

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ( 3 )

And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ( 4 )

So woe to the worshippers

الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ( 5 )

Who are neglectful of their prayers,

الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ ( 6 )

Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),

وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ ( 7 )

But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.

Some Sincere Advice To Every ChristianMost people agree to the fact that Allah’s (God’s) Word cannot be contradictory. What He spoke about Himself must be true. Enjoining Good, Forbidding EvilIbn Taymiyyah said: "This (enjoining good and forbidding evil) is a duty that the entire Ummah is obliged to fulfil.
